One more day!

A new day!
It looks like tomorrow will be the big moving day! They are going to try and wean her off a few of her many many tubes today and maybe get her up standing and walking a little. She is doing much better than a few days ago. She is talking again, and the nausea has mostly subsided. She is a fighter and she wants to move on to the next challenge.
Keep on praying for this tough recovery. Things are going really well so far. Praise God!
I will blog again in the morning to let you all know about visitation.

Praise God!!!! I am so thankful for the great news. I was reading Psalm 1 and thought how Jodie is like the tree planted firmly by the streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he hoes, he prospers. My God keep his healing hands on her and we will keep the faith as we bring her to the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ. Love to all Tracy Sandmann

It's no suprise to me that Jodie is making every effort to bounce back as quickly as possible. I knew 30 years ago (yes Jodie,it's been 30) when Alan brought her into our apartment and introduced her to me, that she is somebody special. I grew to love her then...and even more now. There was a special prayer vigil last night for Jodie with a candle burning in our midst. JESUS IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD and His light is truly reflected in our dear sister Jodie. We offer up praise to hear you will be moving from ICU soon.

Hi Jodie! WE have been to Haines to help Tony & Jayme pack up and leave for Idaho. We were so happy to get the good news about the lymph nodes pathology when we got back! So glad you will be moving out of ICU soon too. The power of prayer is awesome. You keep getting stronger!
Much love, Don & Pat
