Romans 5:1-5

Romans 5: 1-5
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

This is my attempt at keeping everyone up to date with the new journey we, as a family, have been thrown into.
My mom is very loved!

She is doing very well. She went though a tough weekend at the hospital trying to get a stint placed into the bile duct that drains her liver. After two attempts it was a success! She feels better and isn't quite so yellow! She had been very jaundice for a week or so.
This week she will be deciding on the next step to take- surgery. We will keep everyone informed as we know more about that.
She is at home now resting. She would love to hear hear from you here, or by phone.

Thanks for all the offers to help out and especially for all of your prayers!
God is good.

Jodie, Katie, Erin & family,
You are being uplifted in prayer daily by many. God is your constant companion and will strengthen you day by day. He is so faithful to give you grace for the moment, no more....No LESS! You are in my thoughts and prayers throughout the day. My heart hurts for you and the pain/struggles you are going through, but I KNOW God is working His great and glorious plan through YOU!!! So, be encouraged that ALL God's ways are GOOD, even though now it's very hard for you. I pray that God will so abundantly lavish His love upon you that you will be able to do nothing else but rejoice and delight in HIM!
Love you all in Christ,
Pamela

Jodie and the gang,
just want you to know that we're praying for you, praying of course for healing according to God's plan for you, but also that He will be glorified in and through your lives as you learn more and more what it means to rest in Him and to be filled with His joy regardless of your circumstances. Each day on this earth is a gift, not something we are entitled to, so living in the blessing of today is the best thing any of us can ever do. The burdens of tomorrow are too daunting, the past cannot change, but today, we can handle today, we can rest in our Savior's hands today, today is enough.
All our love!
Sarah and Travis

Dear Jodie and family - Am praying without ceasing for a miracle, God's strength and encouragement for each of you. Jodie, you are a blessing and inspiration to so many of us! I'm still finding nerf disks in my things at work (and I've moved twice since you and Karrie ambushed Janie and me)!
With as much love as an email can hold - Susie Long

Jodie, ol' friend (notice, I did not say OLD friend...hee hee hee), let me join in the "we love you, be well soon" chorus!!! You've always been so great at taking care of everyone else; now you need to switch gears and take care of YOU and let all of us take care of you, too. BTW, I'd love to give you a call, but I don't have a current phone number for you, and you aren't in the new phone book. Ask Katie or someone to give me a call at work and leave me your number: 498-5977. Take care and talk to you soon!!

Jodie and family,
I retired from Larimer County this past January but see...when it's news about Larimer County buddies it still reaches those who care! God is so great and I know He'll be with you every step. I work at Christ Center Community Church now so I will spread the word and others will share in my prayers. Katie, God bless you for keeping us updated and passing our love and concern to your Mom.
